Hello July. . . wait. . . Goodbye July?

I love summer. I love it because of all the adventure and sun I need to take on. However, I leave my little blog followers behind. Taking care of Mr. Carl, spending time with John, taking on new responsibilities, and experiencing life has taken me away from blogging. But so much good times have taken place this month. So hold onto your seats and enjoy the read.

At the beginning of the month, 4th of July to be exact, two amazing people I love made an amazing choice! My sister in-law and her husband were baptized!!! While our country was celebrating yet another Independence Day we were celebrating Kayleen and Miguel's recognition of dependence on God! The day was amazing. We spent time together as a family enjoying some good BBQ afterwards (Miguel you are amazing), enjoying good conversation, and of course some smores!!!

Lucy sure did enjoy her cupcake!
This is what Carl did most of the time! zzzzzz
He woke up for a minute so I got a quick shot with him!
Enjoying some smores! Jealous much? LOL!
A Family Photo OP!

Carl attended his first birthday party!! Our friends sweet girl Shelby turned three!!! Shelby loved seeing Carl and was very attentive of him before we left. This party is just a preview into Carl's social schedule! LOL!

This month we have been to the coast a couple of times. At the beginning of the month we went to Newport! This was my first time to the aquarium since living in Oregon. So it has been four years in the making. We enjoyed the trip with my dear friend Megan. Carl slept most of the time he was there but we got him a new pal! Sharky. Such a well suited name. We wrapped up the day eating some Mo's. YUCK! I don't know why they say that place is good. We have been there three times, each time was nasty! So no more Mo's for us. Three strikes your out. Despite the nasty food it was a good day and I got some good pics for my portfolio.

The second trip was for my birthday! July 24th I turned 26! And just two days before this John and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary. We left that Friday for Manzanita and stayed at our Aunt Marcia's beach house. It is such a beautiful home and Manzanita is such a beautiful beach! We spent the night there and had the best pizza ever, Marzano's, when you are in Manzanita you should definitely check it out!! The next we spent the morning at the beach then we left for Tillamook and spent the day and evening with our Aunt Pam and Uncle Mark. It was so good to see there house that they are building. And Pam made us a delicious dinner plus she made me a birthday cake!!! (Love you) It was great just to hang out and I know they loved seeing Carl!
Hanging out on the floor with Carl after the drive!
Enjoying Manzanita at sunset!
And enjoying it in the morning!
Carl hanging out with some of his favorite people!

This month has been filled with lots of love and family!! I couldn't have asked for a better month! Now here is to the rest of summer!
